Cassieandre, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: Would YOU hire you? Why or why not?
Yes, I’d hire me. I show up on time, I do things right, and I’m a little particular in the best way. I believe in hard work, accountability, and not cutting corners. I’m human, but if my name’s on it, it’s getting done properly… probably twice.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Cassie Jones, the founder and creative director behind Pink Caviar. To be honest, I never set out to be in the beauty industry; I can barely put my hair in a ponytail without getting frustrated. I entered the space as a consumer with high standards and an investor mindset, knowing how to build something out of nothing. I’m not the one performing the services. I’m the one building the systems, shaping the experience, and setting the strategy. I’m a logical thinker, a creator, and a delegator by nature, and Pink Caviar is proof that you don’t have to follow a traditional path to build a brand people actually pay attention to.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
I’m from the country—like two stop signs and one red light kind of country—and I knew by the age of five that the stork dropped me off in the wrong place. I couldn’t understand why this was my environment, but I knew I wanted more. Growing up in the ’90s, I remember watching MTV music videos set in places like New York and thinking, Is this real? It was the first time I realized there was a whole world beyond what I saw every day, and it changed how I imagined my future.

Then at eighteen, I met someone who hustled and made fast money—and for the first time, I saw that you didn’t have to follow the traditional path of school, job, and decades of waiting. That moment cracked my perspective wide open. I took what I learned from him, rewrote the formula, and built my own version—just bigger, cleaner, and on my terms. From that point on, I stopped seeing the world as something to fit into and started seeing it as something I could build within.
